Paul Elliott joined Powergen as Director, Customer Service & Operations in July 2005. Since then he has overseen a transformation of Powergen’s customer service, reducing complaints to the industry watchdog by almost 80 per cent, reducing service-related churn by 75 per cent and recently gaining national publicity by withdrawing call handling from India.
Paul joined Powergen from BT Group, where he spent four years as Chief Executive of the BT Directories division. Prior to this, he spent 14 years with HSBC Group, the last three as Head of Operations at First Direct. A graduate of the University of Sheffield, Paul is 40 years old and has two children.
